Hiring Test Manager
Location: London, UK (Can be remote working, with as and when required visits to the office)
Duration: 6+ Months (with possibility of extension)
Rate: GBP 300/day
Job Description:
Strong understanding of testing principles and how they interlink into the SLDC and principal project methodologies (Waterfall / Agile)
Ability to analyse testing risks, proposed test coverage against limited and high level requirements, using their experiences from previous large scale projects
Be aware of the budgetary constraints and the business commercials for a project delivery to determine when enough testing has taken place while assessing the risks
Work with the Head of Testing, programme and project manager to derive the main testing milestones with recommendations for the number of test cycles
Comfortable to liaise and work with senior stakeholders and be resilient enough to challenge back to protect testing
A strong background in test estimation whilst being aware of commercial costs
Ability to write test strategy and approach documents that will meet the needs of the business and the projects key objectives
A deep understanding of defect management processes, test plan tasks and MItesting reports
Exposure ALMtesting tools JIRA with Xray plug-in / MSDevOps for detailed MIreporting
