Job Position – Transport Coordinator
Company Name – BrandSafway
To lead and optimize large-scale transportation operations across 50+ active job sites in the UAE.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Daily Vehicle Allocation: Plan and allocate buses, minibuses, trailers, and staff cars using both owned and cross-hired fleets, ensuring punctual worker deployment and material movement.
– Fleet Management: Monitor maintenance, compliance, and GPS tracking for all vehicles; coordinate servicing and optimize usage to control costs and reduce idle time.
– Driver Supervision: Manage in-house and cross-hired drivers, prepare duty rosters, ensure compliance with work hours, and conduct training and performance reviews.
– Vendor Coordination: Engage with transport vendors to arrange additional vehicles, negotiate competitive rates, and ensure compliance with SLAs and contracts.
– Invoicing & Reporting: Verify transport invoices, assist with monthly reports, and track KPIs for management review.
– Safety & Compliance: Uphold HSE standards and transport regulations; respond to operational incidents and delays.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
– 5+ years of experience in transport coordination, preferably in construction, industrial services, or large-scale logistics.
– Proven ability to handle manpower and material transport operations under tight schedules.
– Strong skills in vendor negotiation, cost control, and fleet optimization.
– Proficiency in MS Excel, GPS/fleet tracking tools, and transport management systems.
– Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
– Willingness to work flexible or extended hours as needed.
