Job Position – Accountant
Company Name – IMI
Hiring an experienced with a CPA/CA/ACCA qualification and strong UAE accounting experience, preferably within the jewelry, gold, diamond, or precious metals industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, AP/AR and cash flow.
Handle UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance and FTA requirements.
Manage accounting and inventory records for gold, diamonds and jewelry.
Coordinate annual audits and maintain accurate financial records.
Ensure AML/KYC/goAML compliance and proper transaction documentation.
Monitor and coordinate trade license, permits, registrations, contracts and other mandatory UAE/Dubai renewals.
Prepare management reports and financial analysis.
Liaise with auditors, banks, tax consultants and government authorities.
Requirements:
CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent qualification.
Strong UAE accounting and VAT knowledge.
Experience in jewelry/gold/diamond/precious metals is highly preferred.
Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, AML/goAML and regulatory compliance.
Strong Excel and accounting/ERP skills.
Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
