Looking for young and enthusiastic Accountant with Construction Industry experience

Job Responsibility:

Petty cash management for Head Office and Projects custodians – coordination, preparation of statements, checking invoice, getting approval, reimbursement and recording in the system.
Bank reconciliation on weekly basis – checking bank transactions and recording in the system
Accounts Payables – receiving suppliers’ invoices, updating log and payables report, coordinate for approvals and posting in the system.
Posting of journal vouchers in the system
Prepare monthly amortization schedule and pass recurring JVs in the system
Prepare monthly accrual schedule and pass JVs in the system
Preparation of monthly closing reports as instructed
Preparation of data for VAT Return filing
Preparation of various analysis reports as instructed
Maintenance of accounts department files
Any other tasked assigned by Seniors

Requirements

Qualification: Bachelor of Commerce and CA, ACCA or CPA
Knowledge of International Finance Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Basic knowledge of VAT laws in UAE
Knowledge of ERP Systems – preferably Xpedeon
Advance knowledge of MS Excel – pivots, formulas, VB & data modelling

Good English Communication Skills – Written & Spoken
Team player
Takes responsibility of tasks given
Analytical capabilities / attention to details
Performance and results oriented
Experience: 5 Year experience preferably in Construction Industry
