Job Title: Analyst Client Services II

Reports to : Director of Information Technology

Position Summary: Participates in the research and analysis of system application needs and problems for users; provides assistance, advice, problem solving, and technical information to customers regarding the use of software applications; and act as liaison with customers regarding the status of their requests. Exercises responsibility for the coordination and application of established procedures related to the Company’s information systems operations and for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of system output, assuring that generated output meets the needs of assigned customers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Resolves escalations of complex requests from customers for service or problems resolution; prioritizes requests and routes, when appropriate, to other IT staff for action and tracks the progress of service and problem resolution.
  • Gathers requirements and performs feasibility studies for potential IT projects.
  • Plans and implements IT projects.
  • Recommends strategy for implementing best practices.
  • Provides input into high-level technical strategic decisions by management.
  • Acts as a technical consultant to IT management for areas of expertise.
  • Identifies and maintains strategic vendor relationships.
  • Actively participates in the planning, testing and implementation of new systems.
  • Confers with application development staff regarding application changes and problems.
  • Generate, receives, and reviews application output, verifying for completeness and accuracy, consulting with business customers and IT staff as necessary, and initiating corrections when required
  • Establishes and maintains cooperative and supportive relationships with customers
  • Performs related duties as required.
  • Requires employee to constantly type and use a computer and other office equipment, such as copier, printer, calendar, telephones, etc.

Required Education

  • Four-year degree in computer or related technical field, and/or
  • Seven years experience in information technology; and/or at least one lower to upper level technical certification, i.e. Oracle Certified Master.
  • Must have through knowledge of the pertinent Company applications.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Must be an expert in and successfully implemented information management concepts and best practices.
  • Must have in-depth, significant knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including verbal communications skills, interpersonal relations skills, and planning skills.
  • Must have excellent writing skills.

Preferred Experience & SkillsPreferred Training & CertificationsPhysical DemandsMust be able to communicate and respond to coworkers, customers, vendors, suppliers and emergency cues/alarms, in person and on the telephone, including use of mobile devicesMust be able to rarely lift at least 5 poundsMay require eventual work in outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, extreme cold, unairconditioned facility, snow, sandstorms, sun exposure, high elevation, tropic weather, etc.May require work on loud environmentMust wear all required PPE, including fire-retardant clothing, helmets, face shields, hearing protection, safety goggles, steel-toed boots, as applicable.
