Procurement with experience in sourcing and purchasing MEP, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and project-related materials.
Education & Qualification
-Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field
-Professional certifications in Procurement / Supply Chain (CIPS or equivalent) will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
-Source and procure MEP, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, tools, equipment, consumables, and project materials
-Obtain and evaluate RFQs, quotations, technical/commercial offers, and supplier proposals
-Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and commercial conditions
-Prepare comparative statements, purchase orders (POs), and procurement documentation
-Coordinate with Projects, Engineering, Estimation, Stores, Finance, and Operations for timely material availability
-Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and prevent project delays
-Identify and develop reliable local and international suppliers
-Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving and alternative sourcing opportunities
-Verify specifications, quantities, approved brands, and delivery requirements before placing orders
-Resolve material shortages, rejected materials, delivery discrepancies, and supplier performance issues
-Maintain accurate procurement records, PO trackers, supplier evaluations, and cost-saving reports
Candidate Requirements
-Minimum 3–5 years of procurement/buying experience, preferably within the UAE MEP/Electromechanical industry
-Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical materials
-Good knowledge of the UAE supplier and vendor market
-Strong negotiation, commercial evaluation, and cost-analysis skills
-Ability to understand BOQs, material specifications, technical data sheets, and project requirements
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP/Procurement Systems, and MS Office
-Strong communication, coordination, and supplier-management skills
-Ability to handle multiple procurement requirements and urgent project demands
-UAE Driving Licence will be an added advantage
-Immediate joiners will be given preference
