Job Position – Cashier

The Cashier is responsible for providing friendly and efficient service to customers during the checkout process. This includes accurately processing transactions, handling payments, and resolving customer inquiries. The Cashier plays a key role in creating a positive customer experience and maintaining the smooth operation of the store.
Essential Functions:
– Greet customers in a welcoming and professional manner.
– Process various forms of payment, including cash, credit cards, and gift cards.
– Accurately count and dispense change to customers.
– Issue receipts and ensure that all transactions are properly recorded.
– Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
– Adhere to all company cash handling policies and procedures.
– Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
