Job Position – Cisco Network Engineer
Company Name – Flint
Location : Dubai
Key Responsibilities
– configure, and maintain Cisco network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
– Implement and support network security policies using Cisco security devices , Manage DNAC.
– Monitor network performance using tools like Cisco Prime, NetFlow, and SNMP, and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
– Document network configurations, changes, and procedures for internal use and compliance.
– Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other systems.
– Provide on-call support for network-related incidents and ensure rapid resolution.
– Stay updated with the latest Cisco technologies and industry best practices, and recommend improvements to the network infrastructure.
– Assist in the planning and execution of network upgrades and expansions

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment (Cisco IOS, NX-OS, ASA, etc.).
– Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), switching (VLANs, STP, Layer 3 switching), and network security.
– Experience with Cisco security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and identity services (ISE).
– Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, Nagios).
– Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco devices using CLI and Cisco Configuration Professional.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred certifications
– Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher certification.
– Experience with wireless networking (Cisco Aironet, WLC, MSE).
-Good to have Experience with network automation using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Python.
– Knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid network architectures will be advantageous.
