Job Position – Cost Control Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain detailed project cost plans and budgets.
– Monitor and track project expenditures, ensuring alignment with budgeted costs.
– Prepare regular cost reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
– Work closely with project managers, procurement, planning, and finance teams to manage budgets and control costs.
– Assist in cost estimation and budgeting during project tendering and planning stages.
– Evaluate contractor and supplier invoices and ensure they reflect actual progress.
– Identify cost trends and provide early warning to project stakeholders on potential overruns.
– Recommend cost-saving measures and support in decision-making processes.
– Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and project control standards.
– Prepare final cost reports and participate in project close-out activities.
Qualifications:
– Proven 5 years of experience in cost control, preferably in the construction field.
– Proficient in cost control software (SAP, Oracle Primavera, MS Excel).
– Strong analytical and numerical skills.
– Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
– Knowledge of project management principles and financial regulations.
