Job Position – Cost Control / Quantity Surveyor Engineer
Company Name – General Construction
Qualifications & Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (mandatory)
-Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in cost control and/or quantity surveying.
-Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and cost monitoring
-Experience in preparing BOQs, variations, and final accounts
-Ability to analyze project costs and control expenditures effectively
-Familiarity with construction contracts and project documentation
-Strong communication and coordination skills
Job Responsibilities:
-Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cost reports
-Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved budgets
-Evaluate variations, claims, and change orders
-Assist in contract administration and financial reporting
-Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams
Preferred Skills:
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and cost control software
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
