Hiring for a Data Analyst/Data Scientist for a 6 months contract role based in Dubai, UAE
Type: 6 months contract
Location: Dubai, UAE
Key Skills
Good data gathering Skills and Leverage company data to drive business solutions.
To design, develop, test, and document the data collection framework. The data collection consists of (complex) data pipelines from (IoT) sensors and OT systems.
Data preparation: Extract, clean, audit and pre-process data for analysis.
Data QC: Analyze quality of data produced and proactively develop solutions to data quality issues.
Perform data exploration to find patterns in the data and understand the state and quality of the data available.
Proficient skill in at least two common programming languages (R or Python)
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
Expertise in building, applying Machine Learning models using ML packages like (e.g. NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn.)
Use predictive modelling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, revenue protection and other business outcomes.
Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyses model performance and data accuracy.
Build metrics, dashboards to measure both ML and system performance.
Experience with Big Data infrastructure and cloud-based tools.
Idea on Storage formats (e.g. Azure Blob, SQL, NoSQL)
A degree in Computer Science Engineering / Statistics / or any related field.
Knowledge of SQL and experience handling large datasets.
Knowledge of visualization tools.
Knowledge of statistical analysis
Experience
5+ years of experience as a data Analyst/Scientist
Experience in the following technologies is preferred:
Data Modeling
Databases
Big Data analytics platform: Hadoop, Databricks
Analytics Engine: Apache Spark
Data preparation
Reporting Tools: Power BI
Programming Language: Python & SQL
