Job Position – Data Scientist
Company Name – Alpha Data Recruitment
Contract Duration: 3 Months – Extendable
Specific Responsibilities
Understand the practical scope of the AI models within the products.
Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes.
Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
Build and finetune models- Network architectures or classical ML models.
Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.
Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps teams for deployment.
Proactively advise on best practices from academia and industry.
Contribute to the team’s research activities Education, Experience and Required Skills.
Experience
A minimum of 7 years in the industry as a Data Scientist
Essential Skills
Demonstrable experience in theory and applied areas of Machine Learning/ Deep Learning
Experience in developing pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.Working knowledge in Simulation & Forecasting, Image Processing and applied NLP.
Comfortable with building models at scale using numeric and logs data.
Experience with Deep Learning libraries e.g., Tensorflow, PyTorch.
Seasoned programming skills in Python, Java, RGood experience in RESTifying APIs and Dockerization.
Extensive Practice in writing good code using suitable data structures.
Excellent communication skillsBroad experience working with Oil & gas / Finance data sets are encouraged.
Experience with big data cloud technologies like Trino.
Good command over SQL queries.
Experience with visualization tools like PowerBI/Tableau is a plus.
Self-motivation and the appetite to build novel solutions or algorithms.
