Job Position – Document Controller

Track, and control all project documentation at the construction site. The role ensures accurate document flow between site, consultants, contractors, and clients, in compliance with project and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Maintain and control all incoming and outgoing project documents (drawings, RFIs, submittals, reports, letters).
– Ensure documents are properly numbered, filed, distributed, and archived.
– Monitor document revisions and ensure only latest approved versions are in use at site.
– Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and project managers for document submissions and approvals.
– Maintain document registers, transmittals, and logs (hard copy and electronic).
– Support audits by providing required documentation promptly.
– Ensure compliance with document control procedures and quality standards (ISO, project-specific).
– Assist in preparing reports related to document status and progress.
– Maintain confidentiality and data integrity of project records.
Skills & Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree.
– 2–3 years of experience as a Document Controller in construction or engineering projects.
– Good knowledge of document control systems and procedures.
– Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
– Experience with EDMS/DMS systems.
– Strong organizational and time-management skills.
– Good communication and coordination skills.
– Ability to work independently at a construction site environment.
