About the client:
The hiring company is an oil and gas company based in the UAE.
Job Role:
Managing, Recording and Inspection Coordination of all Equipment and Materials issued to Contractors
Liaising with procurement team with respect to schedule of shipments and expected deliveries of Equipment and Materials ordered by Projects
Assisting Contractors to identify and segregate equipment and materials
Proposing and approving list of qualified bidders and prepares inquiry packages incorporating all commercial, technical and inspection requirements, where specified and issue accordingly
Preparing purchase orders/Long Term Price Agreement, Annual Price Agreement, Blanket Purchase Orders and related amendments, as/when required and pass them to supervisor
Maintaining and updating related purchasing documents files and records and to prepare status reports. Maintaining accurate information of reconciliation sheets of the fittings and materials used in each project
Ensuring the development and deployment of Supply Chain Management best practices within the discipline that will enhance the Company’s financial and operational performance
Requirements:
Male, 50 years old and below
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related qualification in Engineering
At least 10 years of experience in the same role in oil & gas industry
Strong leadership and communication skills
