About the job
• Operates vehicle in a safe and proper manner and obeys local traffic laws and regulations
• Check vehicle each day before operating to ensure that all functioning properly, i.e. brakes, tire, lights, horn, indicators, and clutch, coolant and battery levels.
• Report any defects to Supervisor
• Complete journey sheets to record destinations, mileages, fuel issues, etc.
• Ensure that the vehicle carries no more than the designated number of passengers.
• Maintain a check on his vehicle on a daily basis before operating
• Maintain discipline and reports unruly behavior to Transportation Supervisor.
• Detailed knowledge of UAE road networks
• Detailed of applicable traffic rules and regulations is required
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a solid team environment with positive attitude and enjoys meeting new people.
• Ability to remain focused for extended period of time and ability to react quickly in emergency situations
