Job Position – Electrical Draftsman

ELECTRICAL DRAFTSMAN:
Qualifications:
– 4+ years construction experience
– Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in any relevant field
– Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
– Sound knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring diagrams.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting complex electrical systems.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with multidisciplinary teams.
– Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.
– Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve drawing discrepancies or design conflicts.
– Can join immediately.
– Create detailed electrical drawings, layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams based on project specifications, engineering designs, and architectural plans.
– Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, scope, and objectives.
– Review and interpret technical documents, sketches, and specifications to accurately translate them into electrical drawings.
– Utilize CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) to draft and design electrical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
– Incorporate changes and modifications into existing drawings as directed by project managers or engineers.
– Maintain an organized database of drawings, ensuring version control and proper documentation of revisions.
– Conduct regular quality checks on drawings to identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors.
– Coordinate with other drafting team members to ensure consistent and cohesive drawings throughout the project.
– Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and best practices related to electrical drafting.
– Assist in the preparation of material take-offs, cost estimates, and technical documentation as required
