Job Position – Electrical Technical Office Engineers

Key Responsibilities:
– Design & Drafting: Develop, review, and finalize electrical designs, shop drawings, and as-built drawings using Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD.
– Material Submittals: Prepare and process technical submittals for electrical materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specifications and consultant approvals.
– Coordination: Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, civil, architectural) to resolve design conflicts and ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
– Quantity Surveying: Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and material take-offs accurately.
– Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical reports, design calculations, and project records.
– Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that may arise during the design and construction phases.
Qualifications :
– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university.
– 8-10 years of experience in electrical contracting within the construction industry is a must, with a strong focus on technical office functions.
– Proficiency in Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD is essential.
– Proven expertise in managing technical office tasks for large-scale projects, particularly high-rise buildings, commercial centers, or infrastructure.
– Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., IEC, NFPA) and local codes (DEWA/ADDC regulations are a plus).
– Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
