Job Position – ELV Technician
Company Name – ELMA Electromechanical
Experience: 1-2 years
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Installs security systems components, units and printed circuit boards.
-Following instructions from Project Engineer e.g. cameras, motion detectors, electronic locks etc.
-Installs structured cabling for various systems .i.e. CCTV, Access control, intrusion detection etc.
-Install and service various Intrusion, CCTV, and Access Control Systems in both commercial and high end residential environments.
-Travel to various customer sites performing installation and service work.
-Be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently as well as in group settings.
-Be well organized and able to multi-task.
-Have good verbal and written communications skills.
-Have experience using test electronic equipment for reading voltage e.g. digital multimeter.
-Be experienced and able to use hand tools and small power tools e.g. drilling machines, screwdrivers & cutters.
-Be able to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.
-Having prior education, training & knowledge of basic electronics, security systems e.g. IP Surveillance, Intrusion detection, Access control and/or electronic power supplies are all plusses.
-Should have initiative to fabricate parts, cables to ensure an installation will be successfully executed.
-Works closely with the Project Engineer.
-Should haven knowledge of common safety practices.
