Job Position – Engineering Supervisor
Company Name – Flora Hospitality
To join hotel operations team in Dubai. The successful candidate will support the Cluster Chief Engineer in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance and safety of all hotel engineering systems, while delivering high standards of service in line with hospitality best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day maintenance operations across all hotel facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems
Lead, schedule, and support engineering technicians to ensure timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance
Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment and facilities are operating efficiently and safely
Respond promptly to guest and operational maintenance requests to minimize downtime and service disruption
Assist in planning and executing preventive maintenance programs
Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, safety standards, and hotel brand guidelines
Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports
Support energy-saving initiatives and cost-control measures
Coordinate with external contractors and vendors when required
Act as Duty Engineer when assigned
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or technical certification in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field
Minimum 3–5 years of engineering experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
Strong technical knowledge of hotel engineering systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS)
Familiarity with safety regulations and local authority requirements including sustainbility practices.
Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
Team leadership and task delegation
Preventive maintenance planning
Guest-focused mindset
Strong troubleshooting and decision-making abilities
Time management and attention to detail
