Job Position – Estimator / Quantity Surveyor
Company Name – Al Serh Al Kabeer Construction
Civil Engineer – Tender Department
Location: Sharjah, UAE
To join their Tender Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive bids, ensuring all submissions are completed within deadlines and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project requirements, specifications, and drawings to prepare precise cost estimates.
Collaborate with the tender team to formulate competitive bidding strategies.
Obtain, review, and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
Interpret project drawings, BOQs, and tender documents.
Prepare and submit bids in line with tender deadlines.
Maintain and update cost data, pricing records, and bid documentation.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Estimator, QS, or in a similar tendering role.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Proficiency in estimating/QS software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
2–4 years of experience in tendering/estimating.
Proficiency in Excel and QS/estimating software.
