About the job
The job holder will be responsible for technical inspection and testing of the products and ensure that assembly procedures are accurately mentioned in the manual.
- Inhouse inspection report for all New product landing for first time in warehouse / store and share the report with Category Buyer
- Product sample testing – Check the assembly & do sample inspection for the new product and submit inspection report with Category Buyer
- Product packaging, SASO labels & composition labels approval for all relevant products
- Regular Store visit to get store feedback on product quality, assembly, and packaging issues
- Work closely with warehouse & buying team to resolve customer complaints and keep the Supplier updated on the same for future improvement
- Maintain records of assembly manuals / assembly instructions in central depository
Qualification & Skills
- Graduate with technical degree in Wood Science & Technology
- 3-4 years experience in Home & Furniture Retail
- Experienced carpenter from workshop experience
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook
- Technical understanding and knowledge on Quality control of Furniture products
- Good in communication
- Ability to work in fast paced environment with attention to detail
