Job Position – Finance & Accounts Manager
Company Name – Alfakhama Trading
Key Responsibilities (Managerial & Strategic):
– Oversee the full finance and accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
– Develop, implement, and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
– Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis to support decision-making.
– Review and validate financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts.
– Manage working capital, ensure liquidity, and supervise all AP/AR activities at a strategic level.
– Lead VAT compliance, including proper calculation, reporting, filing, and communication with authorities.
– Oversee audit processes and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance.
– Manage and mentor the accounting team, including recruitment, development, and performance management.
– Approve supplier payments and ensure alignment with financial policies and budget controls.
– Provide financial insights, risk assessments, and recommendations directly to senior management.
– Ensure continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and reporting mechanisms.
– Supervise payroll operations and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing.
– Support the Managing Director with financial evaluations and special assignments.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Finance Manager / Accounts Manager in a trading environment.
– Experience in raw material trading companies (preferred and prioritized).
– Strong understanding of UAE VAT, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
– Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
– Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior management.
Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel.
