Job Position – General Accountant
Company Name – Acwa Power
-Create monthly management reporting and timely month-end closing/forecasting process.
-Financial accounting / Financial reporting / General ledger / Fixed assets / Financial analysis.
-Compute VAT & WHT taxes and prepare tax returns.
-BAC/BOD material preparation.
-Prepares and coordinates local payment instructions and circulates for review and approval.
-Coordinate Physical filing of Invoices and payment batches
– Involved in annual budgeting/quarterly reporting process.
-Collaboration with project lenders, off?takers, legal advisors, auditors, and tax consultants.
-Ensuring timely and accurate periodic financial reporting to all the stakeholders.
-Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and frameworks.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience with Big four or Multinational companies
Minimum Qualifications
– bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or any related field.
– Oracle knowledge and experience advantage.
– IFRS & GL solid experience
– Advanced MS Excel skills are required.

– Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
– Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
– Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral) both in English and Arabic
– Self-starter with the ability to work independently across functional groups and on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Must be flexible to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
