Seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Assessment to lead and strengthen assessment practices in line with the British Curriculum and Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) requirements.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust assessment systems, accurate data analysis, and high-quality reporting that support student progress, inspection readiness, and continuous school improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the development and implementation of assessment frameworks aligned with the British Curriculum and SPEA expectations
– Ensure consistency and accuracy in assessment, moderation, and reporting across all key stages
– Oversee internal and external assessments, including standardised testing
– Analyse assessment data to inform teaching, learning, and leadership decision-making
– Prepare and support the school for inspections and regulatory compliance
– Provide professional development and guidance to staff on effective assessment practices

Requirements:
– Recognized teaching qualification with relevant leadership experience in assessment
– Proven experience within a British Curriculum school
– Strong understanding of SPEA inspection frameworks and compliance requirements
– Excellent data analysis, reporting, and communication skills
– Experience in leading assessment for learning and assessment of learning practices
