About the job
Our small EMEA focused HR team is currently based in London, Athens, Dubai and we are looking to expand in-market HR coverage by placing HR support in our Dubai office during a period of peak workload. Initially this will be a six-month fixed term position commencing June 2021 working remotely until return to work.
Key Responsibilities

- Support the HR Manager with providing broad generalist HR support, including employee relations, performance management, policy/procedures reviews and talent development to management and employees across multiple Middle Eastern locations including UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
- Support the development and implementation of people policies and procedures to comply with applicable regulatory statutes and local employment law
- Collate data analysis and commentary, including headcount reports, salary and market benchmarking surveys, vacation utilization, and other reports as needed
- Work with the broader HR team and the specialist experts within Centre of Excellence functions in ABS to ensure that the functional plan for EMEA is effectively executed
- Support the HR Manager to ensure delivery and effective execution of the people initiatives, offer general advice, coaching and feedback
- Complete a wide range of administrative tasks using HRIS systems
- Be a key member of the HR team, working closely with a number of different, international stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of a high-quality HR service to local business units
Previous Experience
-
- Proven experience as a HR Administrator/HR Advisor in a multi country international/EMEA environment
- Experience of Middle East HR support essential
- A clear track record of working closely with stakeholders, effectively communicating with them on a range of commercial and operational business issues, supporting cultural and business change
- Experience within matrixed environments is desirable
- Experience in the marine sector an advantage

- Delivery capacity and operational grip to “hit the ground running” and deliver results quickly and efficiently.

- Able to understand detail, alongside complexity, while still able to deliver against business aims
- Down to earth and approachable, a real team player and self-starter who is able to work both operationally and strategically.
