Job Position – HSE Engineer

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALITIES:
-Recognized international Degree in Engineering
-Professional Qualification in HSE Field or Valid safety training certificates indicating courses attended and subject matter.
– NEBOSH L3
– Certificate (NGC-IGC or O&G)
– OHSAS 18001 or ISO 14001 certification.
– Desirable: HSEIA / HAZOP / BOW -TIE
– Conversant with R/A, procedures and inspection.
-Familiarity with applicable national / international standards and legal requirements.
WORK PERFORMED
A)Ensure all Monthly deliverables are issued to client in a timely manner.
B)Responsible for maintaining all registers and collation of all HSE statistical data with monthly updates to Project manager and clients.
C)Ensure and keep track of all consumables and fire extinguisher stock items available in stores. Raise requests in accordance to ensure the availability of materials at all times.
D)Identify applicable legal requirements with respect to project work scope and ensure compliance.
E)Participate in investigation of incidents / accidents, near miss incidents and prepare required reports with monitoring of corrective and preventive actions.
F)Ensure all HSE Plan & Training plan requirements are understood and met.Responsible for enhancing team proficiency & maintain coordination with all focalpoints.
G)Responsible for liaising with client and support in other work tasks assigned.
H)Responsible for timely submission of Daily, Weekly & Monthly Reports.
I)Ensure inspections are conducted based on approved schedules.
J)Record all noncompliance and potential observations based on inspections conductedand provide appropriate recommendations to correct the same.
K)Using excellent customer skills establishes and maintains harmonious relationshipswith other employees & client.
L)Log, maintain & update all necessary observations in Action Item Tracking Register totrack closeouts for raised observations and provide trend analysis to Management forimprovements.
M)Ensures all stock order quantities with respect to project contract agreement ismaintained at all times and control all in / out materials via documented process.
ADNOC Classification: Internal
N) Ensures all fire extinguisher assets are properly maintained and defective / non-conforming items are removed and placed in quarantine zone.
O) Ensures all depressurized Fire Extinguisher units are sent for hydro testing and refilling and received back in stores to ensure adequate spare availability.
