Job Position – Inpatient Medical Coder
Company Name – Global Care Hospital
Experience: minimum of 2 years’ experience in Inpatient Coding in a hospital setting, based in Abu Dhabi.
Requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately code and abstract inpatient medical records, ensuring adherence to coding guidelines and regulations.
Collaborate with Physicians & other medical staff to clarify diagnoses and procedures for accurate code assignment.
Review patient records to verify completeness and accuracy of clinical documentation.
Stay updated on coding changes and industry best practices to maintain high-quality coding standards.
Maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity throughout the coding process.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ inpatient coding experience in a hospital environment based in Abu Dhabi.
Strong knowledge with DRG coding methodologies and using CC and MCC conditions effectively.
Certification required CPC or CCS.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and disease processes.
Detail-oriented mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
