Job Position – IT Officer
Organization – Creative British School
Location – Abu Dhabi
Job Purpose:
Seeking a dedicated IT Officer to join our team, responsible for providing essential IT support and ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and development of our school’s technology systems and infrastructure.
Expected Start Date: Within one month.
Key Responsibilities:
– Maintain and manage the school’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and computer systems.
– Provide technical support to staff and students for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
– Install, configure, and update software and hardware as needed.
– Ensure data security, perform regular backups, and manage user access controls.
– Troubleshoot technical problems and minimize downtime by providing efficient solutions.
– Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate technology into the curriculum.
– Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT equipment and manage procurement when necessary.
– Train staff and students on the effective use of technology and digital resources.
– Ensure compliance with school policies and data protection regulations.
– Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Proven experience in IT support, network management, and systems administration.
· Strong knowledge of operating systems, hardware, software, and networking protocols.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
· Experience in an educational setting is a plus.
