Professional Services
-L2 Engineer will be responsible for implementation of LAN, WAN, Wireless networks, CCTV, VoIP, SDWAN & Security related solutions. They work with a variety of different hardware and software systems to implement complete network infrastructures that meet the needs of their clients.
– L2 Engineers may also be tasked with providing support & attend customer related technical meetings related to these solutions related to Pre/Post Sales. This might include monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and making adjustments & enhancement where necessary to ensure business continuity & services uptime.
– Shall understand and well document client requirements
Implement & Test networks/solutions based on agreed solution, leading best practices & products, along with field support staff on-site.
– Proactively monitor & identify bottlenecks networks to ensure 99.99% up-time with full throughput & coverage availability
Establishing security measures as per latest trends & security policies to protect network infrastructure from unauthorized access
– Ensure handover of newly implemented solutions to operations team along with all supporting documents & warranty/smartnet details
Designing and implementing network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technology
– Troubleshoot & resolve issues reported by customers or field support team in timely manner
– Coordinating with L3 Engineers and management to review and implement approved software patches & upgrades on servers or workstations, network devices
– Developing policies and procedures for network security and usage, including acceptable use policies for network management with review & approval from management & L3 Engineers
Provide documentation & training to on-site Field Engineers for basic installations, provisioning & troubleshooting related cases.
– 25% Travel Requirements
– Ensure documentation of all routine works and customer complaints along with resolution steps in detail.
Education & Experience
– Shall be BS/B.E degree in Computers Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology or relevant field
– 5+ years of experience in network & security implementation & troubleshooting of solutions comprising hybrid IP technologies including and not limited to WAN, SD-WAN, LAN, Wireless,
– Security, VoIP, IPTV/OTT, CCTV, GSM, Cloud & Virtualization
Must be CCNP Enterprise certified, CCIE would be plus
CCNP Security or Fortinet NSE4 or Palo-Alto PCNSE would be a plus
– Cloud & Virtualization certifications (Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, Google, VMware) would be a plus
