Key Responsibilities:
– Organize and maintain the school library collection
– Support students and teachers in finding age-appropriate reading and research materials
– Promote literacy and a love for reading through engaging programs and activities
– Collaborate with staff to support the curriculum with relevant library resources
– Manage library technology, databases, and borrowing systems
– Teach basic library and research skills to students
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature or an equivalent field
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– A genuine interest in children’s literature and education
– Organizational skills and attention to detail
– Previous experience in a school or library setting (preferred but not required)
