Job Position – Logistics Manager

In this role you will get to perform and involve in the construction supervision of infrastructure project.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Logistic Manager shall ensure full implementation of the project specific Safe Logistics Management Systems which should include, but not limited to, below:
- Safe Road diversions implementation
- Safe road/traffic arrangements to ensure safety of the project and public vehicles.
- Any activities and intrusion to the public roads making changes to the original conditions of the public roads must be done safely by the implementation of typical safe logistics arrangements and by Competent Project Representatives with proper and safe arrangements (barriers, advance safety signage, flasher lights implemented immediately ensuring safety for all public roads users.
- Regularly maintain hoarding/fencing/barricading/multilingual safety signage and expand in accordance with the planned activities progress.
- Any additional arrangement deemed necessary including laydown yards, site internal roads, dust suppression, water supplies provisions, project services provision, site accesses maintenance etc.…
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field)
- 15+ years of related field engineering experience, or a broad general engineering background is required
- UAE based experience is required
- Potential to perform in a lead capacity
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required
- Must also possess a thorough knowledge of current technology and be able to select and apply appropriate engineering software for use on project.
