Job Position – Logistics Operator Officer

Key Responsibilities:
Shipment Coordination:
1. Manage and oversee the scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of shipments.
2. Ensure that all logistics operations are carried out efficiently and within deadlines.
3. Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve any issues related to shipments.
Inventory Management:
1. Monitor inventory levels and ensure that stock levels are maintained to meet operational needs.
2. Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
3. Collaborate with inventory control teams to optimize stock levels and manage warehousing needs.
Documentation and Compliance:
1. Prepare and maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions, including shipping documents, invoices, and customs paperwork.
2. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and international trade laws.
3. Handle customs clearance and ensure that all shipments meet regulatory requirements.
Operational Efficiency:
1. Analyze logistics processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
2. Implement and monitor best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
3. Address and resolve operational issues, such as delays or discrepancies, in a timely manner.
Customer Service:
1. Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, handling complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction with delivery services.
2. Communicate effectively with customers regarding shipment status, delays, or issues.
Collaboration:
1. Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for logistics operations.
2. Collaborate with external partners, including suppliers and transport providers, to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
· Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Knowledge of logistics and transportation regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CLTD, APICS) is a plus.
