Job Position – Logistics Supervisor
Company Name – Al Ain Mills
Job Location : – Al Ain Mills _ UAE Branches
To oversee the logistics operations in three locations – Al Ain Mills Ajman, Fujairah, and Sharjah Mills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
I). Logistics Planning and Coordination: – Develop and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
-Coordinate and plan logistics operations for Al Ain Mills facilities in Ajman, Fujairah, and Sharjah
II). Supply Chain Management: – Oversee the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods.
-Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to enhance supply chain performance.
III). Warehouse Management: – Supervise warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and storage optimisation.
-Implement best practices for warehouse safety, organisation, and cleanliness.
IV). Transportation Management: Manage the transportation network, including fleet coordination and route optimisation.
-Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and monitor the performance of logistics service providers.
-Ensure all deliveries are been reach customers on time as scheduled.
V). Team Leadership: – Lead and motivate a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and training as needed.
-Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the logistics department.
VI). Performance Analysis and Reporting: – Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess logistics performance and identify areas for improvement.
-Prepare regular reports on logistics activities, costs, and efficiency metrics.
Qualifications and Requirements:-
-Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Proven experience in logistics management, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role.
-Strong knowledge of logistics processes, supply chain management, and transportation regulations.
-Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
-Effective communication and leadership abilities.
-Familiarity with the UAE logistics landscape is a plus.
