Job Purpose:
As part of the Marketing team, the Marketing Coordinator will be responsible in assisting the Marketing Executive in the implementation of various high-quality marketing, PR, and social media initiatives, for our Boutiques, Cafes, Corporate Business, Franchise and Jomara.
The job holder will independently and collaboratively manage multiple projects to any set objectives, support in the execution of these projects and to add value and ensure Bateel’s brand is well presented and optimised.
Key Accountabilities:
Planning & Budgeting
- Support in monitoring the spends of the annual marketing budget.
- Assist in updating and circulating the Marketing Calendar.
- Assist in implementing all planned thematic and tactical activities in adherence to the Marketing Calendar.
Brand Support & Execution
- Support in building and enhancing the brand image in line with brand objectives.
- Support in managing advertising creatives for all outer markets ensuring brand image is kept consistent. Creatives include but not limited to (Brochures and catalogues, POS, digital assets, environmental branding, packaging, advertorials, and OOH) to ensure brand guideline compliancy and delivery to brief and budget.
- Liaise with all franchises and outer market managers to design and distribute the marketing collaterals/artwork and ensure full compliancy to brand standards.
- Manage all photo assets – from archiving existing images to managing new shoots, both internal and third party.
Digital and Social Media
The role involves a great deal of digital and online marketing work, specifically managing our ecommerce sites and social media accounts. This includes copywriting and multimedia content and management of online campaigns. As such, having a familiarity with and knowledge of digital and online marketing is beneficial.
- Work closely with the Marketing Executive to develop engaging, creative and innovative social media content.
- Manage the social media calendars which include supporting photo shoots, copywriting brand-focused messages for regular scheduled posts and liaising with our agencies.
- Assist in customer service issues from all our social media platforms and coordinate with the relevant internal departments.
- Track relevant social media influencers to enhance brand reputation and extend reach through influencer channels.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of digital marketing activity plans and provide ongoing timely support for Bateel social media efforts.
- Efficiently manage all email and SMS communications activity, including asset creation and stakeholder sign off, campaign execution and reporting on a campaign/project results.
- Assist in the ongoing maintenance and optimisation of the Corporate and ecommerce website, uploading or editing content where applicable.
- Uploading approved blog articles and briefing necessary images.
PR & Events (Online and Offline)
- Support in the day-to-day liaison with the PR agency, providing briefs and imagery to facilitate each month’s PR strategy.
- Regularly liaise with all mall marketing and PR contacts to ensure monthly coverage using our own Brand content as a minimum.
- Manage influencer marketing initiatives and collaborations across all active markets.
- Manage the timely handling of Influencer marketing campaigns such as gifting with process such as sourcing, costing, handling, and delivery.
Administration
- Assist in the day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Manage the LPO and invoicing process with purchasing and finance team – from initial request to final reporting communicated by a monthly budget report and tracking.
- Manage Bateel’s online assets library for all brands, ensuring all images are up-to-date and ready to be shared with all parties.
- Safeguard Bateel brand standards online and offline in all markets (including our Franchise network)
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of various monthly reports and presentations.

Experience requirement:
- A degree in Marketing/Advertising/Communication can be considered with minimum one year experience in Marketing, experience in Luxury Retail or F&B sector is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience in managing social media channels and digital marketing activities.
- Ability to deliver based on given briefs and add value to them.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with ability to continually re-prioritise workloads and deadlines.
- Proactive and ‘can do’ approach with ability to drive campaigns using minimal guidance and own initiative.
- Proficiency in both verbal and written English, Arabic a plus
Qualification and Licenses requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications or Business and Administration is desirable
- Excellent computer literacy skills
