Key Responsibilities
– Supervise and quality control all plumbing activities on-site (irrigation, water lines, drainage, pool systems)
– Knows how to calculate and design swimming pools, water flow and equipment
– Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
– Knowledgeable with material estimate
– Oversee installation, testing, and maintenance of plumbing systems
– Identify and troubleshoot issues with piping, pumps, valves, and fixtures
– Ensure all work meets local codes and safety regulations
– Manage plumbing materials, tools, and site inventory, ensuring all are in good working conditions
– Manage plumbing team on site-to-site allocation basis
– Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other trades on-site
Requirements
– Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction and swimming pool mechanical works
– Diploma, vocational certificate, or trade license in Plumbing
– Strong leadership and hands-on site supervision experience
– Able to work outdoors in various environments
– Knowledge of pool plumbing systems (filtration, pumps, jets, backwash systems)
– Valid driver’s license and flexibility with work hours
– Knowledgeable and able to work in AutoCAD
Preferred Skills
– Experience in both residential and commercial pool and landscaping, mechanical and plumbing works
– Familiarity with local mechanical and plumbing codes and municipal approvals
– Ability to manage a team and train junior plumbers
– Attention to detail and safety-focused
