Job Position – Medical Receptionist
You will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. Your role is crucial in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You will provide excellent customer service, manage patient appointments, and handle various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
– Greet and assist patients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
– Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments accurately.
– Manage patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
– Handle billing and insurance queries, including verification and processing.
– Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate patient flow and address any concerns.
– Maintain the front desk area, keeping it organized and ensuring a pleasant atmosphere.
– Utilize knowledge of the Dubai healthcare system to assist patients effectively.
– Perform additional administrative duties as required, including managing patient records and handling correspondence.
Qualifications:
– Excellent communication, reading, and writing skills in English.
– Pleasant and approachable personality with a genuine desire to help people.
– Strong understanding of the Dubai healthcare system and its procedures.
– Medical knowledge or experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning new software systems.
– Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
– Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, along with experience in handling insurance eligibility check, approvals, submissions, claims and denial management.
