Job Position – Network Engineer

Looking for a hands-on networking professional who can take ownership of enterprise network projects from design through implementation, commissioning, handover, and ongoing support while also acting as a technical escalation point for customers and the internal team.
Key Responsibilities:
– Own the complete network project lifecycle — planning, design, implementation, testing, commissioning, documentation, and handover.
– Design, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise networking solutions across Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, Huawei, Juniper, Extreme and similar platforms.
– Work extensively with routing, switching, enterprise Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN and network troubleshooting.
– Design and manage network security and firewall solutions including Fortinet/FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco, SonicWall and related platforms.
– Manage and troubleshoot networks using NMS, monitoring platforms, Wireshark and other diagnostic tools.
– Plan and oversee structured cabling infrastructure including copper and fiber systems.
– Own assigned AMC customer accounts, ensuring SLA compliance, proactive support and customer satisfaction.
– Act as the primary technical escalation point for critical incidents and complex network issues.
– Support customer sites, troubleshoot support tickets and independently resolve technical issues.
– Prepare technical documentation, network health reports, project updates and management/customer presentations.
– Collaborate with pre-sales and sales teams on solution design, technical proposals, BOQs and customer presentations.
– Stay current with emerging networking and cybersecurity technologies and help drive technical best practices within the team.
Candidate Profile:
– 3–5 years of hands-on enterprise networking experience
– Experience within a System Integrator, Managed Services or IT Infrastructure environment preferred
– Strong customer-facing, troubleshooting, documentation and reporting capabilities
– Ability to independently manage multiple projects and customer environments
– UAE System Integrator experience will be a strong advantage
– Valid UAE Driving Licence
– Willingness to travel to customer sites across the UAE
