Job Position – Procurement Coordinator

With fit-out experience should be skilled in managing the procurement process for materials and services needed in interior fit-out projects. This includes sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers, as well as coordinating with project managers and design & estimation teams.
Job Responsibilities:
– Liaise with Design team and ensure that required material samples are collected and its timely delivery to the Design, Site and Estimation Team.
– Collaborating with project managers, designers, and engineers to understand material requirements and ensure procurement aligns with project specifications and timelines.
– Identifying and vetting potential suppliers, collecting materials samples, getting approvals, negotiating favorable price and obtaining quotation and its approvals, and managing Material Requisition, and purchase orders.
– Ensuring all purchases adhere to project specifications, quality standards, and relevant regulations.
– Monitoring stock levels, coordinating timely replenishment, and minimizing material shortages or overstock situations.
– Managing the logistics of material delivery, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to the correct location.
– Maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities, including quotations, purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
– Follow up with Finance / Accounts ensure payment is released on time.
Skill / qualification:
– Familiarity with materials commonly used in interior fit-out projects
– Experience in similar position, preferably in Fit-out industry in UAE is preferred.
