Vacancy – Procurement Manager
Location – Dubai, UAE
Experience – 13-15 years’ of relevant working experience in structural steel.
Key Accountabilities:
·Responsible for the direction of the materials management and purchasing function to achieve service and inventory goals.
·Manage the tactical operations of the materials management, purchasing function and team members in it.
·Establish and implement purchasing strategies, policies, and procedures.
·Identify vendor opportunities and challenges, and partner with the Product Management team to ensure appropriate resolution.
·Collaborate with Project Management and other departments to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory planning.
·Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers.
·Evaluate all purchase orders to ensure the compliance with project requirements, and ensure most cost effective possible and within a specific timeframe for material.
·Prepare and maintain supplier evaluation forms, supply position risk assessments.
·Establish, build, and maintain relationships with all key suppliers.
