Job Position – Procurement Specialist
Company Name – Alfakhama Trading Company
Location: Dubai
To join dynamic team and manage sourcing strategies, vendor negotiations, and international logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement within logistics and international trade.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement effective procurement and sourcing strategies.
– Negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
– Identify and build relationships with profitable suppliers.
– Approve and finalize purchases, contracts, and deliveries.
– Coordinate outbound logistics and manage shipment schedules.
– Prepare export documentation (invoices, packing lists, delivery advice, etc.)
– Track key procurement metrics to improve effectiveness and reduce costs.
– Conduct contract reviews and ensure compliance.
– Lead sourcing initiatives to drive cost-efficiency and improve supplier performance.
– Use data analytics for decision-making and reporting to management.
– Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs.
– Monitor and manage supply chain risks.
Requirements & Skills:
– Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist/Manager or similar role.
– Minimum 5 years’ experience in a logistics company and in import/export operations.
– Strong knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, and export documentation.
– Excellent negotiation and networking skills.
– Proficient in supplier management software and data analysis.
– Degree in Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields.
-Familiar with international procurement markets and practices.
