Job Position – Production Advisor
Company Name – Cemex
Location: Dubai
This role is responsible for planning, performance monitoring, material inventory control, cost management and continuous improvement.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of the cement production process to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations.
Oversee production planning and scheduling to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while maintaining product quality standards.
Manage and lead production teams, including shift supervisors and operators, ensuring proper staffing, training, and performance management.
Monitor and control production processes using digital control systems (DCS) to optimize equipment performance and product quality.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and ISO quality standards.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to execute preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Work closely with the procurement and logistics departments to guarantee the timely availability of raw materials and the effective management of inventory.
Analyze operational data and production reports to identify performance gaps and implement corrective or preventive actions.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency, minimize costs, and enhance product quality.
Develop and maintain a motivated, technically skilled, and safety-conscious workforce.
Proficient in SAP production and variable cost modules.
Manage inventory measurements for raw materials and finished products.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education / Professional Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree Chemical Engineering or any other engineering.
• At least 5-8 years working experience in the same field.
• English language proficiency is a must (Hindi language is a plus)
Job Specific Competencies /Operational Knowledge:
• Comprehensive understanding of cement operations and their optimization.
• Capability to lead, communicate effectively, and allocate daily tasks among employees.
• Ability to lead a team of a diverse ,multinational team with a strong focus on achieving results.
• Proficient computer skills (Advanced in Excel, Power Point, etc.).
• Strong communication skills.
