Job Position – Quality Assurance Engineer

Minimum experience 8-10 Years
REQUIRED:
·Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
·Professional certifications ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor.
·Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and standards.
·Proficiency in quality management systems (QMS) and tools.
·Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
·Develop and implement Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) plans for the project.
·Define quality objectives, standards, and procedures in alignment with project requirements.
·Prepare/check Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for each phase of the project.
·Ensure all project specifications, drawings, and standards are clearly communicated to the team.
·Maintain and update quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and compliance records.
·Prepare/check method statements and ensure they are followed during construction.
·Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and contractual requirements.
·Ensure compliance with local, national, and international standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, ACI, BS, EN).
·Identify and document non-conformances or defects in materials, processes, or finished work.
·Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and track their resolution.
·Work with project teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
·Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure quality objectives are met.
·Conduct regular quality meetings to discuss issues, progress, and improvements.
·Provide training and guidance to site personnel on quality standards and procedures.
·Conduct internal and external quality audits to assess compliance with QA/QC plans.
·Review contractor and supplier quality systems to ensure they meet project requirements.
·Prepare audit reports and recommend improvements.
·Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and audits.
·Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports to Project Quality Manager.
·Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.
·Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
·Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the project team.
·Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
·Identify potential quality risks related to materials, processes, and workmanship.
·Verify that as-built drawings and documentation are accurate and complete.
·Assist in the preparation of operation and maintenance manuals.
