Responsibilities:
– Conduct thorough quality control inspections on incoming raw materials and finished paint products.
– Perform various tests and analyses to assess the physical, chemical, and performance properties of paints and coatings.
– Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
– Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues or discrepancies that arise during the manufacturing process.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and optimization.
– Maintain accurate records of test results, inspections, and quality control documentation.
– Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in paints and coatings quality control.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
– Proven experience 1-3 years in quality control within the paints and coatings industry.
– In-depth knowledge of paint formulation, application techniques, and quality testing methods.
– Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards governing paints and coatings.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
– Proficiency in relevant software applications and laboratory equipment used in quality control testing.
