Job Position – Quantity Surveyor
Interior Fit-Out Contracting Company (Dubai)
Dynamic team in Dubai. You will be responsible for the cost management of interior fit-out projects, from tender stage to project completion. This is a key role within our company, and you will play a vital part in ensuring project profitability and success.
Responsibilities:
-Prepare accurate and detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for tender submissions.
-Analyze tender documents and identify any discrepancies or risks.
-Obtain and maintain competitive quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
-Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects.
-Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
-Manage variations and change orders during project execution.
-Prepare and submit invoices and progress claims.
-Monitor project costs and identify potential cost overruns.
-Prepare cost reports and analysis for project management.
-Liaise with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
-Assist with the development and implementation of cost control procedures.
-Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quantity surveying.
Qualifications and Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
-Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in interior fit-out contracting in the UAE.
-Proven experience in preparing and analyzing BOQs.
-Strong understanding of cost estimating and budgeting principles.
-Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel.
-Working knowledge of UAE construction regulations and standards is a plus.
