Job Position – Receivables Officer (Finance Department)

Looking for a detail-oriented and motivated finance professional to join our dynamic Finance team in a 5-star hospitality environment.
About the Role
As a Receivables Officer, you will be responsible for managing the hotel’s accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collections, accurate billing, and strong financial control over guest and corporate accounts.
Key Responsibilities
– Manage and monitor all accounts receivable including city ledger and corporate accounts
– Ensure timely invoicing, billing, and collection of outstanding payments
– Follow up on overdue accounts and maintain strong credit control procedures
– Reconcile receivable accounts and resolve discrepancies with internal departments
– Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly receivables reports for management review
– Coordinate with Front Office, Reservations, and Sales for billing accuracy
– Maintain proper records of all credit transactions and supporting documents
– Support month-end closing and audit requirements
– Ensure compliance with hotel credit policies and procedures
– Handle guest and corporate billing queries professionally
What We Are Looking For
– Minimum 5 years experience in Accounts Receivable within the hotel industry
– Strong knowledge of hotel PMS (Opera preferred) and accounting systems
– Good understanding of credit control and collections
– Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
– Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
– High attention to detail and accuracy
– Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
