Job Position – Safety Officer

Hiring for a candidate with 3 to 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably with a strong background in contracting companies in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing safety protocols on construction sites and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies on site.
Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments and hazard identification to prevent incidents.
Ensure compliance with UAE safety regulations, including Dubai Municipality, Civil Defence and OSHAD standards.
Prepare and maintain safety documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and incident reports.
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for site personnel.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture.
Investigate accidents and near misses and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure all safety equipment is in good working condition.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Safety Management or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in safety roles, with at least 2 years in a contracting company in the UAE.
NEBOSH IGC.
Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and authority requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office and safety reporting tools.
Excellent communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
