Job Position -Safety Officer
Company Name – Cavend Consturction
QUALIFICATION AND JOB DESCRIPTION:
– Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
– Minimum 3 years in UAE of experience in a Safety Officer role within the construction industry.
– Knowledge of local HSE laws and construction safety standards.
– NEBOSH or equivalent safety certification (preferred).
– Conduct daily site inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
– Identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
– Monitor and enforce use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
– Deliver safety induction and toolbox talks to workers and subcontractors.
– Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
– Maintain accurate HSE records, including safety logs, inspection reports, and permits.
– Ensure compliance with all local laws and safety codes.
– Assist in the development and review of the company’s HSE policies and procedures.
– Coordinate emergency response drills and first-aid arrangements on site.
– Cancelled Visa/ Visit Visa preferred.
