About the job

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Develop business cases and data analysis for specific Sales push, ageing inventory actions, commercial activity, market share targets & any pricing actions with due input and interaction from Sales, VME, Finance and product marketing teams.
  • Create, manage, validate, finalize & communicate any decks ensuring VME support with Competitor details, NSC mark up, TP & TPVA rationale to all stake holders in a timely & accurate manner.
  • Development of process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy across sales and cross functionally
  • Tracking channel mix across all regions from retail, to fleet vs. BP
  • In conjunction with VME controller, ensure relevant and accurate data has been entered into the sales force and utilize this information to develop incentive reporting that provides required information in a user friendly format while focusing on relevant measurements for retail and fleet financial forecast plans.
  • Formulate and communicate new ideas and suggestions that will improve profitability and efficiency of fleet deals.
  • Manage monthly and Quarterly forecast in line with volume target by model and channel.
  • Forecast Vs actual sales analysis by market/model for proactive measures
  • Review weekly and monthly sales and stock ageing reports to look for Sales opportunities.
  • Creation of sales dashboard/reports vs. BP and all related sales & KPI’s
  • Support departmental need for ad-hoc reporting and presentations, including business reviews and management decks.
  • Monitor NSC ordering vs. allocation regularly and liaise with AM’s and Sales Op’s.
  • Keep sales team informed on vehicle scheduling status in conjunction with Sales Op’s
  • Collate and analyze industry data based on input from MEAC
  • Work with sales team to identify key growth opportunities based on industry data

 

Metrics:

 

 

  • Timely submission of the sales programs and analysis vs. BP and other key metrics
  • Timely distribution of key reports such as at the MEAC market share data and key growth opportunities
  • Order status at 100% level of commitment
  • Stock D/S at required/recommended level
  • Help decision makers effectively grow the business by identifying areas/segments of opportunity’s and help grow volume and share
  • Deliver consolidated sales forecasts/plans and sales reporting to the team to actively deliver on their sales forecasts

 

Experience:

 

 

  • Automotive experience essential
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within the industry
  • Business bachelor degree – MBA is a plus
