Job Position – Senior Accountant
Company Name – Dubai Marine Beach Resort & Spa
Project-Based
Experience: 3–5 Years (UAE experience mandatory)
With project-based experience in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and supporting project accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger
Handle project accounting, including cost tracking, budgeting, and financial reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Monitor project expenses and ensure alignment with approved budgets
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and assist in VAT filing
Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audits
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Prepare financial reports and provide insights to management
Assist in forecasting and financial planning for ongoing projects
Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE Labour & Financial laws
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE (project-based experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience in construction, contracting, or project-based industries
