Job Position – Senior Accountant – Finance & Compliance
Company Name – Procat Catering Services
Key Responsibilities:
– Financial Operations: Manage accounting operations, financial reporting across group entities, and ensure timely month-end/year-end closing.
– Compliance & Tax: Ensure strict compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory requirements.
– Reporting & Strategy: Prepare management reports, budgets, and financial analysis while supporting the Head of finance with strategic initiatives.
– Audit & Authority Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
– Team Supervision: Oversee payroll, accounts receivable, collections, and credit control functions.
– System Optimization: Support ongoing ERP implementation and continuous financial process improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter preferred).
– Experience: 5–8 years of core accounting and finance experience within the UAE.
– Tax Knowledge: Strong, practical knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and IFRS.
– Tech Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern financial/ERP systems.
